2. Scope
These terms apply to the use of mcgroupp.com and to the requests, quotes and foreign-trade services you ask us for: import and export advice, coordination of customs filings, tariff classification, approvals, registrations, freight and logistics. Customs actions that the law reserves to DIAN-authorised customs agencies are carried out through them.
Each service is also governed by the commercial offer or contract we sign. If they differ, the offer or contract prevails.
3. Quotes
- Sending a request through this site does not create a contract; it lets us study your operation and reply.
- Each quote states what it includes, how long it is valid and its conditions. It is based on the information you give us.
- Freight rates, exchange rates, carrier surcharges and third-party costs can change after we quote; if that happens, we tell you before going ahead.
- Customs duties and taxes (tariffs, VAT and others) are set by the authority according to the classification and value of the goods and are not part of our fees, unless the offer says otherwise.
4. What we need from you
- Truthful, complete and timely information about the goods, their value, origin, destination and use.
- The documents each operation requires, for example commercial invoice, packing list, transport document, certificates of origin, registrations and approvals.
- The mandates or powers of attorney the law requires for us to act on your behalf.
- Timely payment of taxes, freight, storage and other operation costs.
Delays, penalties or extra costs arising from incomplete or inaccurate information or documents provided by the client are borne by the client.
5. Third parties and authorities
Many stages depend on third parties: shipping lines, airlines, carriers, ports, warehouses, customs agencies and bodies such as DIAN, INVIMA or ICA. We coordinate with them and keep you informed, but their timings, inspections and decisions are outside our control. Each third party is responsible for its own obligations.
6. Payment and invoicing
Fees, advance payments and payment terms are those of each offer. We issue electronic invoices under Colombian law. Payments we make to third parties on your behalf are backed by their receipts.
7. Liability
We provide our services with professional diligence and are responsible for our own obligations under the offer or contract and the law. We are not liable for acts of third parties, decisions of authorities, force majeure or acts of God, or for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by the client.
8. Confidentiality and personal data
We treat the commercial information of your operation as confidential and only share it with those who must take part in it. Personal data is handled under our data processing policy.
9. Use of the site
The content of this site is informative and does not replace advice on your specific case. Texts, logos and designs belong to M&C GROUP or its brands and may not be used without permission. Some photographs are for illustration.
The forms may not be used to send unsolicited advertising or automated content.

11. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. We may update them; the version in force is the one published on this page with its date.
