- Manage, confirm and deliver orders for our brands.
- Invoice, collect payment and meet legal, accounting, tax and customs obligations.
- Handle petitions, complaints, claims and warranties.
- Send you commercial information about our services and products, only if you agree to it separately, through the channels you choose, Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., never on Sundays or public holidays (Colombian Law 2300 of 2023), respecting the Do-Not-Contact Registry. Buying or requesting a quote never depends on accepting advertising, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
4. Authorisation
We process your data with your prior, express and informed authorisation. On this site you give it by ticking the authorisation box before sending a request or an order; on WhatsApp or by email, by writing to us and accepting this policy. We keep proof of that authorisation.
Authorisation is not required where the law exempts it, for example for public data or by order of a competent authority.
5. Sensitive data and minors
We do not ask for sensitive data (health, racial or ethnic origin, political views, beliefs, biometric data and similar). If they were ever needed, we will tell you and answering will be optional.
Our services and shops are aimed at adults. We do not process data of children or adolescents except where the law allows it and always in their best interest.
6. Who we share your data with
We only share what is needed for the purposes of this policy:
- Third parties involved in your foreign-trade operation: shipping lines, airlines, carriers, customs agencies, warehouses, insurers and suppliers abroad.
- Authorities such as DIAN, INVIMA, ICA, ministries and other bodies that issue approvals or registrations, when the filing requires it.
- Courier and delivery companies that deliver our brands' orders.
- Technology providers acting on our behalf (web hosting, the service that delivers form requests to our inbox, email, messaging such as WhatsApp) under a duty of confidentiality.
Some of these third parties are outside Colombia. Those international transfers happen when they are needed to carry out the operation you hire us for, as allowed by article 26 of Law 1581 of 2012. When providers abroad process data on our behalf, they do so as processors under a data transmission agreement (Decree 1074 of 2015). We do not sell your data.
7. Your rights
As the data subject you can:
- Access, update and correct your data.
- Ask for proof of the authorisation you gave us.
- Be told, on request, how we have used your data.
- Withdraw your authorisation or ask us to delete your data, unless a legal or contractual duty requires us to keep it.
- Access your data free of charge.
- File complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), after first raising your query or complaint with us.
8. How to make a query or a complaint
Write to gerencia@mcgroupp.com or WhatsApp +57 318 522 1171 with your name, ID number, a description of your request, the address or email for the reply and any supporting documents. Management is the area responsible for answering. When we receive it we will give you a reference number.
| Type | Response time |
|---|---|
| Query (see your data) | 10 business days from receipt. If we need more time we will tell you why and the date we will answer, no more than 5 further business days. |
| Complaint (correct, update, delete or withdraw) | 15 business days from the day after receipt. If we need more time we will tell you why and the date we will answer, no more than 8 further business days. |
If your complaint is incomplete, we will ask you to complete it within 5 days of receiving it; if 2 months pass from that request without a reply, we will consider it withdrawn. Within 2 business days of receiving the complete complaint we will flag the data as "complaint in progress" with its reason.
10. Security and retention
We apply reasonable technical, human and administrative measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access or use.
We keep data while it is needed for the purposes described and for the periods required by commercial, accounting, tax and customs rules. After that we delete or anonymise it. Our databases remain in force while those purposes continue, without prejudice to legal retention periods.
11. Validity and changes
This policy applies from 9 October 2026. If we change it substantially, we will publish the change on this page before applying it and, where appropriate, ask for a new authorisation.
